New York is frozen and CoSM has closed its doors, but there’s new life in my sanctuary and big things coming in the year ahead.  Join me this coming Sunday, January 18th, in the loft for an evening gathering of freeks, fashion, and dear friends.  I will be showing my new line Sefirah Fierce Designs, featuring flamenco-inspired gypsy skirts, leather ninja belts, corsets, dancer pants, fully faux fur lined, one of a kind neo-Victorian winter coats, tribal dresses, and more.  This is a chance to get first pick of the many colors and styles I’m offering.

My friend Ankur Shah, a radical pilgrim, farmer, chef, musician, chaplain, author, and all-round extraordinary person, will be presenting his new book, Sometimes We Walk Alone.  The memoir describes his walking pilgrimage in India, following Gandhi’s footsteps on the salt march from the Sabarmati ashram to the Indian ocean, exactly 76 years later.  Open discussion invited.

Music will be provided by CoSM’s beloved residents, DJ Mikio spinning sexy beats for your dancing pleasure, Shaman of the Drum Mz Imani offering live rhthyms, and BlackByrd’s fearless vocals and sacred flute.

I’ll be baking bread all weekend and making a huge cauldron of pumpkin soup to share.  Soak in the love, spread on the butter, dance, shop, talk about India, pick up a book, get cozy on the couches.  Let’s play.

The evening will be as lovely as each of you.  This is a free show in an intimate environment.  Can’t wait to see you here!
