If you’re still wondering, ask ankurbhai@mangolandia.org, or call 360 683 5398. Please give 48 hours contact turnaround time during good weather spells.

Q. Where are the classes? How do I get there?

A. The classes are at the Cutting Garden, in Sequim. Directions you can find at their website.

Q. When? I forget.

A. Every Tuesday, starting September 9th (2008), from 4-7pm. We’ll start cooking at 4 and probably getting to dinner between 6 and 6:30.

Q. When can I sign up?

A. Now. They fill up in advance, it seems. Call 360 . 683 . 5398 or email me [ ankurbhai at mangolandia dot org ] and I’ll get back to you within 48 hours.

Q. Will I get dirty?

A. Yes. Bring an apron. These are not demonstrations. You will get your hands in the proverbial mud.

Q. How much does it cost?

A. The classes are $50 each. That includes the instruction, the food, the fun, written recipes, and lifelong friendships. If you bring a partner, it’s $40 each. If you commit to lots of classes, they’re $40 each. If you bring a partner and you both commit to lots of classes, they’re still $40 each. It’s simpler that way.

Q. How many classes are there? Why did I miss the Indian food?

A. You didn’t miss the Indian food. There will be more. There will always be more. If you don’t see it on the upcoming class list, it’s just around the corner. I promise. The classes will continue up to Christmas if everybody involved maintains interest.

Q. I missed the first class. Maybe because it was full. What do I do now?

A. Take a different one. Though the lessons are different, they are independent of one another. Many rivers all flow to the same ocean. You don’t have to take all of the classes. You don’t have to take any of them, in fact! But you should. Really.

Q. Will there be live music?

A. Sometimes.

Q. Will there be alcoholic beverages?

A. Sometimes.
